Thank you for your marvellous service last week. I ordered a dd tarp 1 on tues evening, the tarp arrived on thurs am. The initial inspection was pleasing as the quality seemed fantastic, and I was not disapointed as the tarp served me fantastically over the following wet weekend camp with my scout group. I received the extra business cards and will place them on our notice board with a note of recomendation.

Hi everyone!
I get a better nights sleep in my camping hammock (second year of use) than I do in my bed (well most of the time anyway!) However, would it be possible to have a reinforced tape running down the centre of the tarps with 3 loops, a bit like Mr Mears\'s hoochie or even the army basher, that way the ridge line can be run on the outside instead of on the inside where I get water ingress even with the use of drip lines.

I have recently purchased a camping hammock from yourselves.I have used it for the first time over this last weekend whilst carring out my duty as warden at our scout camp \'milldale\' in south west cheshire district. I feel I must contact you only if to say what a fantastic bit of kit ! from a fantastic company the service was exellent. The only problem I found was the amount of other leaders, scouts and parents that stopped by to ask where I had my \'fancy\' hammock from so naturally I passed on your web address. I\'ve just put your standard hammock through it\'s paces in South Wales this past weekend, temps dropped to -10 and i\'ve got to hand it to your, the hammock took it all in it\'s stride. No webbing broke because of the frost and it was very wamr with the may inside. It even took the weight of my mate at 19 stone!. Thanks fellas, i\'ve been running around recommending you.

bought the camping hammock last summer, used it a few times in mild weather and loved it. my mates were all jealous! but i\'ve just had the chance to use it in cold weather. Just a touch of frost on dartmoor, quite a bit of wind and a 3 season sleepin bag. too much wind to keep a tarp up. and no thermarest (poor planning). was still quite nice and the wind gave the soothing effect of rocking me gently to sleep! next time i used (and would recommend using) a body width piece of roll mat (i use just enough for my torso to mid thigh). brilliant sleep

I recieved the Hammocks yesterday and have already set one up in the back garden. I was introduced to yourselves by friends, who have recently order two hammocks. After taking them to Wales on a camping holiday and spending more time in tehm than out of them i knew it wouldn't be long before i had one too. I now do and am already loving it. The hammock has transformed my camping experience, as i am an amputee (left leg above knee) tents are cramped and impractical for the first time in 15 years i feel the freedom again, my dd hammock has replaced the bowie knife as my favorate camping kit and i will treasure it as i have my knives, i feel sure that once my mates have witnessed the sheer joy of my new bivvy they will be clamouring to get one. My name is Phil Jenkins and I ordered a hammock from you on Tuesday 21st November 2006 and it arrived the following day! I tried the hammock out today as it was the only time I?ve had chance and it wasn?t bucketing down with rain! I?m well impressed, as an ex soldier and still with an interest in the great outdoors I can?t get over how comfortable it was. I?m 6? 3? and I weigh in at 17 stone, so I was a bit dubious of how or if I would be able to get in and out - or if it would be strong enough to hold me? Needless to say it more than lived up to expectations and although I only tested it for about an hour or so I know it?s going to work for me. The only thing I ask is ? why didn?t I get one forty years earlier?!!!! I've attached a photo and although it looks a little small for me - so is my bed! Bear in mind the camera was on timed and I didn?t have a lot of time to get in and right down in the cocoon. I also still had my boots on. When I put the sleeping bag in place I spent three quarters of an hour in the hammock and it was great. I can?t wait to try it out for real. Cheers

I have looked at the other suppliers such as Hennessy, Clark and Mosquito hammocks. All are in reality very similar to the DD Travel Hammock only having some mild differences. The real beauty of this hammock is that not only is it less than a third the price of the others mentioned, but it is strong, sturdy and extremely well made. It is comfortable and provides a good nights sleep. Extremely comfortable the DD Travel hammock not only comes with a fitted mosquito net, but also a cocoon which provides added protection and warmth on the cooler nights. This provides an excellent alternative to using a tent which is extremely light at 800g, and with a fly sheet above will provide a great deal of protection from the elements. Once you have mastered the technique of getting in and out then you can look forward to one of the best night’s sleep you can get. This is the obvious solution for anyone who enjoys camping, backpacking, motorcycling, cycling or Kayak touring.
