As before this hammock has fine mosquito netting which keeps out all insects (including the dreaded British midge). Entry is via a side zip with two double-sided zippers.

New features include two waterproof layers (instead of nylon) so if needed (no trees) it can be set up on the ground as a basic bivi/tent, see pictures. Also features two small internal pockets which are great for storing a torch, phone, etc as well as three velcro patches between the two layers to help keep a thermarest/pad in place if cold weather camping.

You also have the option to lie out in the open (without mosi net) - simply tie the hammock up with the mosi net underneath the hammock.

With the new, waterproof floor this hammock can be used anywhere and along with our new Tarp is the ultimate lightweight camping system!

Our long awaited new, lightweight Tarp is finally ready!

3m x 3m, very lightweight (650g) and with 19 tough attachment points this Tarp really is extremely versatile (please see gallery pictures). Perfect size to provide complete protection for any of our hammocks (and still have dry space for storage/cooking).

It can also be used on its own as a tent roof for those camping on the ground, to provide a camp shelter, or as a ground sheet.
The fabric is PU (3,000mm) coated polyester. All seams are taped.

The DD Camping Hammock is lightweight, compact and comfy.

Its features include a two layer design which allows cocoon like sleeping. Alternatively you can lie out in the open (on top of both layers) with the option to put a thermarest/pad between the layers as insulation in winter.
Sets up/packs up in under a minute and packs away into stuff sack provided (size when packed approx 30cm x 10cm).

Hammock comes with 6m of webbing attached with an additional 10m of our strongest webbing included in the bag.

The DD Scout Hammock is great for Scouts/Cadets and children who enjoy camping. Slightly smaller and more basic than our other hammocks it is also very light, 600g. It is made from nylon and has two layers so the user can cocoon themselves inside if they wish. (Unlike our Camping Hammock it does not have a zip and comes with lighter webbing).

The DD Poncho is extremely tough and versatile. It can be used as both a poncho or a tarp, if required. Five press studs down each side and two press studs on each arm ensure good protection from rain when worn as a poncho (can be undone when using as a tarp). Please see gallery pictures.
This is a large poncho and is suitable for people up to 6ft 8" tall.

This hammock is a mesh/netted hammock which is a great, lightweight piece of gear to combine with your sleeping hammock.

Set it up above or below your sleeping hammock you can then store your gear in it (within your reach whilst in your hammock and keeping it off the ground - dry and away from animals). This hammock is not designed for sleeping in. Comes with 10m of webbing. Can also be used as a fishing net in survival situations!

Hammock Underblanket designed by Ian Dent-Willoughby and made by Snugpak.
Compatible with all DD hammocks.

The underblanket hangs just below the hammock (using 4 elastic cords at either end) providing insulation in cold weather. Whilst not the only way to insulate your hammock in cold weather this underblanket is, however, regarded as the best under-hammock insulation available.

The size is 2.15m by 1.5m (at the middle/ widest point) and the fill is synthetic.
